We are looking for a Delivery Manager with the following requirements:
Description:
Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects and products, particularly using Agile methods, leading the team in the right direction. Manage and work closely with the various stakeholders involved in the project and the rest of our team to define the vision, and ensure the prioritisation of work so that all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage of the project and according to the customer's requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Gather and distil requirements from our customers, translate them into an applicable plan, review user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the product backlog
- Plan and review of services in accordance with the customer's requirements / management of the various stakeholders involved in the projects
- Ensure the delivery of projects and their life cycle, from the analysis phase to the go live and monitoring of the same - day-to-day operations, support of projects, de-escalate critical engagements
- Risk management
- Remove 'blockers' or obstacles to progress: negotiating with stakeholders or refocusing / challenging senior leadership
- Define and clarify strategies and plans, and communicating a clear sense of direction and purpose for self and team
- Lead collaborative and planning processes, prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team: facilitating daily stand-ups and other sprint ceremonies, and coaching teams on Agile tools and techniques
- Regularly undertake activities to engage and build trust with people involved in the projects;
**Requirements**:
- 5 years of experience in IT project management / as a Delivery manager
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business or technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate stakeholder needs into business and product requirements
- Functional background knowledge of healthcare projects & services
- Pro-active, problem solving, "can-do" attitude and "customer first" mindset
- Team mediator, with great communication, engagement and negotiation skills
- Duration: Contract for 12 Months;
- Localization: Lisbon;
