The hotel offers two great restaurants, including Tahi Arabic restaurant.We have an excellent team with diverse background, education and skills making it a comfortable working environment.Job DescriptionTo be responsible for consistently producing mise-en-place and dishes to the recipe specifications.To be responsible for establishing and maintaining high sanitation standards in the work station.To assist the Chef de Partie in the production of the mise-en-place for the elaboration of all menus according to the standard recipes.To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.To guide the Commis towards their job performance by giving feedback and discussing areas of improvement.To assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and distribution of all food items to all outlets and functions and lead the section in the absence of a Chef de Partie.Check the taste, temperature and visual appeal of food items prepared to ensure that the quality and portion are consistent and as per specifications set out.QualificationsAbility to work under pressure.Able to follow instructions.Positive attitude.Previous relevant work and hospitality experience.Flexibility to respond to a range of various work situations.Additional InformationWe are far more than a worldwide leader.
