Deputy Project Director

Deputy Project Director, Brazil (Wind/BESS) Full-time, remote The ideal candidate must be a local Brazilian citizen. Our client is a world-leading renewable energy solutions company with a global network of clients. As the Deputy Project Director in Wind/battery energy storage system (BESS), you will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the successful inception, execution and completion of renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities Project delivery: ensure seamless delivery of wind/BESS projects, from production planning to installation, commissioning, testing, warranty services, and coordinating transportation. Client relationship management: lead management of client relationships for all projects and ensure client satisfaction throughout delivery process. Quality assurance and issue resolution: implement comprehensive quality control measures to address any identified project delivery issues, provide feedback for continuous improvement. Contract negotiation and management: actively engage in contract negotiations post-bid, identifying and mitigating project delivery risks to facilitate high-quality contract agreements. Also manage contract changes for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to company standards and requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business or related field. Proven experience in project management, preferably in renewable energy sector with wind/BESS project delivery experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends.
