He/she will support the manufacturing and assembly team.Responsibilities:Prepare drawings of mechanical seal assemblies to guarantee fidelity and accuracy.Draw up data sheets and simulations of mechanical seal operation when required by the customer and analyze results to ensure system suitability.Draw up auxiliary system projects under supervision.Operate the company's business system.Generate lists of materials.Carry out varied and complex work under direct supervision.Gather relevant information for each task, review inputs, understand the scope of work and complete assigned tasks while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Update status to all stakeholders in a timely manner.Follow engineering standards and procedures for product design to produce consistent and reliable results.Check conformity of each design with job specifications, safety in assembly, maintenance and operation, method and ease of manufacture, and ease of assembly.Carry out self-checks.Deliver clear and complete drawings/analysis/documentation/part list reports, guaranteeing on-time delivery and quality.Understand basic functions of documentation control, document preservation, and computer archiving.Maintain and develop technical and interpersonal skills in compliance with company policies.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Mechanical Technician and/or studying Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Electrical, etc).Experience in rotating equipment (minimum 2 years).Proficient in 3D modeling (Solidworks) and 2D drawing.Familiar with GD&T and ANSI Y 14.5 standards.Experienced user of computer programs such as Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Knowledge of technical and design standards including but not limited to API 682, ASME VIII and regulatory standards.Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/documents.Highly self-motivated team player.Highly committed and quick learner.Ability to respond in a timely manner to internal and external customers.Good verbal and written communication skills.Communicates professionally and works well with people from other departments and customers.Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
