Job Description The Desktop Support Technician L2 will provide technical support for hardware, software, and IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our clients.
You'll troubleshoot advanced issues, collaborate with teams globally, and help implement IT solutions for efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Provide L2-level support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced Windows OS issues, including updates, performance optimization, and registry fixes.
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Resolve complex issues related to Active Directory , including account management, group policies, and domain connections.
Support and configure mobile devices via MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, AirWatch ).
Diagnose and resolve network issues, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and DNS/DHCP problems.
Assist with VPN connectivity issues and security updates.
Deploy and manage endpoint protection tools like McAfee or Symantec .
Provide remote support using tools like TeamViewer, RDP, or Citrix .
Maintain hardware inventory and coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs.
Collaborate with L3 teams and escalate issues as needed.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Requirements Technical Requirements: Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and macOS troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-level Active Directory administration.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA ).
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs and firewalls.
Experience with software deployment tools such as SCCM or Intune .
Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
