We're looking for multiple Software Developers to help build the next-generation microservices using cloud-first concepts and technologies including containerization, serverless architecture, and increased use of NoSQL data stores.Value You DeliverDesign, development & delivery of new features as part of agile teamWork closely with, and incorporate feedback from product management, interaction designers, and other engineering teams (platform, mobile, quality).Pro-actively identify ways to make TripIt more robust, scalable and user-friendly.Own cloud services end to end, delivering distributed systems using AWS native servicesExecute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).Good professional software development and cloud infrastructure engineering experience (developing consumer web applications preferred).Expertise with server-side web frameworks (Python/Django or PHP/Symfony preferred)Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and knowledge on AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo is highly desired)Knowledge of one or more relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle (familiarity with one or more NoSQL databases is a plus)DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability.Clear and effective verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex technical concepts with ease across an organization.Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions is preferred.Experience in Travel Technologies a plusDisplays passion for & responsibility to the customer.Displays leadership through innovation in everything you do.Displays a passion for what you do and a drive to improve.Displays a relentless commitment to win.Displays personal & corporate integrity.The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering optimal solutions and challenging the status quo.
