This role requires an independent and skilled professional with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and environment management.There are no direct reports in this position; instead, the focus will be on technical expertise and daily operational support.Key Responsibilities:DevOps Environment Setup, Monitoring & Management: Manage and monitor our DevOps environment, ensuring everything runs smoothly (e.g., troubleshooting failed jobs on UAT servers). Maintain and set up new environments in Octopus and Git for deployments, ensuring efficient CI/CD workflows.Database Administration (DBA) Tasks: Assist the support team by executing SQL scripts and handling database-related support tickets. Perform SQL tasks in support of application performance, with potential to work on more complex SQL procedures as needed. Troubleshoot UAT and production errors, including debugging DLL and database-related issues.Key Requirements:5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a DevOps or DBA-focused role.SQL Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, including Transact SQL (T-SQL), is essential.Experience running database scripts to support data-driven applications.CI/CD Management Tools: Proficiency in TeamCity (CI) for continuous integration management.Strong familiarity with Octopus (CD) for deployment and release automation.Source Management: Experience with Bitbucket (Git) and SourceTree for version control.Development & Troubleshooting Skills: Familiarity with .NET/C# and ASPx for in-depth troubleshooting of code issues impacting applications and environments.
