The Director of Digital Marketing will work at the SmartEnergy office in Sao Paulo, located at WeWork at Rua Professor Atílio Innocenti, 165, Sala 05-106, Vila Nova Conceição, São Paulo—SP, 04538-000. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, with weekends off. Position Summary: SmartEnergy seeks a seasoned and hands-on Director of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing strategy, drive implementation, and ensure efficient management of all digital channels. The Director will play a key role in establishing and growing our digital footprint and will be integral to our brand's expansion. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about sustainable energy and a deep understanding of the digital landscape. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with SmartEnergy's goals. Oversee all digital channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, native, and other digital marketing initiatives. Manage, mentor, build, and collaborate with the digital marketing team, including the Digital Marketing manager. Collaborate with the Marketing Data Analyst to monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns. Work closely with external consultants and vendors as needed to maximize campaign effectiveness. Provide insights and reporting to senior management, identifying areas for growth and innovation. Provide strategic guidance, insight, and knowledge about market trends, consumer attitudes, competitors, and the effectiveness of the marketing strategies. Lead all marketing communication efforts through email and social channels. Lead all consumer insight initiatives to understand how current and potential consumers interact with the SmartEnergy brand and overall customer experience . Be the expert on new, relevant technologies to help drive consumer experience, including website optimization and personalization. Qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with proven experience in managing and executing digital strategies. Demonstrated experience in SEO, SEM, social media, native, and content marketing. Strong analytical skills, with experience using marketing analytics tools to inform decisions. Hands-on leadership style with a proactive strategy, implementation, and team management approach. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams; must also be an excellent listener. Must be able to substantiate a clear understanding of consumer and media trends and the development of market strategies and campaign outcomes, resulting in significant growth of customer/revenue base within a competitive environment.
