We seek a highly skilled and motivated Casual Security Officer to join our team at the US Consulate in Melbourne.
As a Casual Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the staff, visitors, and facilities.
You will work collaboratively with the other security team members to maintain a secure and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform security screenings of visitors and personnel before granting access to the Consulate.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular patrols of the Consulate premises.
- Provide access control to restricted areas.
- Escort visitors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the security team and other Consulate staff.
