**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reporting due for export repatriation team.
- Identify changes to the regulations/regulatory returns introduced by regulator and implement the relevant changes after working closely with the business & controls/risk teams.
- Create digital client servicing experience.
- Accurate processing of trade transactions and meet trade service level agreement.
- Drive SMIT and S2BNG, Re-engineer and automate internal processes for higher STP.
- Regulatory reports automation.
- Cross train self within the team.
- Ensure through proactive self identification of control weaknesses, no audit fail.
- Timely reporting of Regulatory Reports.

- To ensure compliance of all internal operational procedures.
- To assist Head, Trade operations in implementing changes to internal standards and procedures in line with development of the business.

**Business**
- Verify the authenticity of customer instructions and content of transactions to ensure neither customer nor bank is placed at risk.
- Process and deliver all trade transactions within job holder's purview in line with service standards.
- Meet turnaround times as per the service level agreements and productivity standard.
- Act as primary point of customer contact for inquiries and problem resolution.
- Maintain a meticulous documented filing system.
- Reconciliation of all related accounts as entrusted on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, inclusive of Nostros.

- Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

- Lead the Sri Lanka Trade Operations team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Markets, Financial Crime Compliance & Stakeholder Confidence
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Import & Export Control Department of Sri Lanka & Customs

- Agrees rigorous Service Level Agreements, reviews and compares businesses' performance against them, and suggests improvements for internal customers to align with changing requirements.

**Qualification**
- Completion of Advanced Level examination.
- Willing to work as a team.
- Target driven and self-motivated individuals.
