The successful candidate will serve on the external communications leadership team and create a high-impact communications strategy and programs around the company, its business success, employer brand, and technical innovation.
Success in this role requires the ability to establish a vision for communications and manage it through periods of rapid growth.The ideal candidate has proven success leading enterprise tech communications programs, providing counsel to executive stakeholders, collaborating across business functions, and contributing to high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities:Set external communications strategy for the region, align function with corporate strategy, and create formal networks within the company to execute it successfully.Develop and scale a program to showcase the company's success that will establish it as a leader in AI-Powered Experience Orchestration.Develop and manage external communications programs around some of the company's most strategic activities and regional initiatives in LATAM, focusing on Brazil and Mexico as core markets.Counsel and support our leadership team in Latin America on sensitive communications issues, including potential crisis communications or corporate development transactions.Craft effective messaging and positioning for projects or moments with a clear understanding of the context around messaging, such as competitors, risks, etc.Create frameworks to guide decisions around significant and unique issues where analysis of situations requires an evaluation of intangibles and exercises impeccable independent judgment to obtain results.Manage PR agencies working on behalf of Genesys in the Latin America region.Minimum Qualifications:12+ years of public relations experience.Experience in B2B technology communications.Excellent mentorship/leadership skills and with a team player mentality; leads by example embodying accountability and transparency with peers, colleagues, and leadership.Impeccable attention to detail, understanding of enterprise technology and current consumer trends, and ability to communicate complex topics effectively.Ability to work in a collaborative environment while also working independently and autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable strength in writing clear and impactful announcements and messaging.Experience managing PR programs across the LATAM market.Fluency in Portuguese/Spanish/English language is a requirement.If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Genesys empowers more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries to improve loyalty and business outcomes by creating the best experiences for their customers and employees.
