This position is based in São Paulo/SP - Brazil.
The Position This role is crucial for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive market access and pricing aligned with Novo Nordisk's vision and goals across the region.
You will be responsible for making complex decisions impacting the regional market, with a focus on maximizing value and strengthening Novo Nordisk's presence across various channels and market segments.
Your main activities will include: Develop and execute market access and strategic pricing plans to meet the affiliate's short, medium, and long-term needs.
Lead the LATAM Market Access team and represent the region in committees and cross-functional projects to identify commercial opportunities and negotiating with International Operations and Global teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including academia, industry, payers, and patient organizations, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Manage private and public channels to optimize revenue while enhancing patient value and Novo Nordisk's market impact.
Take accountability for complex decisions affecting affiliate resources and priorities and set the strategic direction for market access in alignment with therapeutic areas and public policy initiatives.
Qualifications A university degree in a relevant field is required.
An MBA or an advanced degree would be a plus.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the LATAM healthcare system and its regulations.
You should have solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a background in health economics, pricing, and market access.
We expect you to have leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing teams and complex projects.
You'll need to be fluent in English, and it would be preferred if you're also proficient in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
It would be great if you have experience working across the LATAM region.
Familiarity with therapeutic areas like Diabetes, Obesity, Rare Diseases, and Other Serious Chronic Diseases would be ideal.
