About the Company: Our client, a leading B2B provider in the iGaming industry, is expanding its presence in Brazil and seeks a Director of Public Affairs to manage regulatory relations and ensure compliance with Brazilian authorities. Position Overview: The Director of Public Affairs will play a critical role in managing the company's interactions with the Ministry of Finance and other key regulators. This position involves ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulations, influencing policy, and representing the company's interests to support its strategic objectives in Brazil. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure adherence to Brazilian iGaming regulations and standards. Develop and implement strategies to address regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks. Act as the primary liaison with the Ministry of Finance and other regulatory bodies. Monitor and analyze changes in relevant legislation and regulations. Advocate for favorable policies and represent the company's interests in regulatory discussions and public consultations. Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and position papers for senior management and regulatory agencies. Communicate regulatory changes and implications to internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment. Organize and lead meetings, briefings, and events with regulatory authorities and industry partners. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regulatory hearings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in public affairs, regulatory affairs, or government relations within the iGaming or financial sectors. In-depth knowledge of Brazilian iGaming regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in Portuguese and English. Ability to analyze regulatory issues and develop strategic recommendations.
