He/she is also responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that Room revenues and Catering revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenue and profits, and to improve the hotel's performance in the marketplace. He is also  is responsible for coordinating internal and external marketing activities for the property. New developments in certain agencies' structures, new assignments, industrial complexes, new business centres, new projects which all could be of interest and benefit to the hotel and to distribute this information to your colleagues.
