Director Talent Acquisition - Latin America

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) Director for the Latin America region.
In this role, you will contribute to the strategic development of talent acquisition practices, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure the alignment of recruitment efforts with both regional and global business objectives.
As a member of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, you will represent LATAM countries and contribute to the overall global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and fostering collaboration across markets.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy Deployment: • Execute global talent acquisition strategy for LATAM aligned with the organization's business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive key talent acquisition metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
• Use data-driven approaches to analyze trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership: • Lead, mentor, and develop recruitment teams across the region to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide input and regional perspective to global recruitment process improvement, fostering innovation and adaptability.
• Supporting HR team members and stakeholders in implementing new recruitment processes, systems, and services.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for talent acquisition initiatives.
Employer Branding: • Collaborate with regional marketing and communications teams to localize the organization's employer brand while maintaining global brand consistency.
• Develop and execute innovative employer branding strategies to position Latin American markets as the employers of choice.
Sourcing and Recruitment: • Work with local talent acquisition and HR leadership to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent in competitive markets.
• Utilize various sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Supports strategic sourcing and local/regional HR with escalations for questions or issues related to the contingent labor program in the region, ensuring effective management and resolution in collaboration with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.
Executive Recruitment: • Collaborate with senior business and HR leadership to align executive recruitment strategy for LATAM countries.
• Partner and manage external executive search firm engagements as needed, ensuring alignment with company values and strategic priorities.
• Handle sensitive executive searches with discretion and maintain confidentiality throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform leadership hiring trends in LATAM.
Technology and Tools: • Implement recruitment technologies to streamline processes, enhance the candidate experience, and improve outcomes.
• Leverage data analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize talent acquisition efforts.
Compliance and Diversity: • Partner with country HR leaders to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in the markets.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to attract a diverse pool of candidates and promote an inclusive workplace.
Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition with a strong understanding of global talent markets and best practices.
• Minimum of 5 years talent acquisition leadership with demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing recruitment teams in a global, matrixed organization.
• Proven experience in executive recruitment, successfully placing senior leadership roles.
• Knowledge of contingent workforce management across multiple regions, especially in global companies.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable talent acquisition strategies.
• Proficiency in recruitment technologies and using analytics to drive results.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience in implementing inclusive recruitment practices.
Additional Requirements: • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Proficiency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese is required for this role.
The candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in all three languages to effectively engage with diverse teams across multiple regions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work across different time zones to support global recruitment efforts.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and compliance
