Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Care and inspect all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment to ensure a superior sanitization standardClean and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areasPick-up and dispose of all trash in all food and beverage areasEnsure all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoriedReport any instances of concern to F&B leadership including any items or equipment in need of repairClean all dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware, pots and pans either by hand or by using an industrial dishwasherEnsure the kitchen & banquet Colleagues have the needed clean dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware pots and pans required to service our guestsSort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe mannerEnsure items are removed from circulation that are no longer functionalEnsure floors are being kept up with proper sweeping and mopping and clear of hazards and obstructionFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsConsistently offer professional, engaging and friendly serviceOther duties as assignedYour experience and skills include: Previous experience is an assetSelf-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisionsDemonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentOrganized and a great team playerAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAbility to work independently from a task list to complete listPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing and pullingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsWorking in humid and hot environments
