Position Summary
The Dishwasher's main objective is to produce clean sanitized pots, pans, dishes, and utensils as necessary in a very timely manner. Also, may assist in preparing food, oversee and provide trash removal, bussing tables, and cleaning the dining area.
Major Responsibilities/ Daily Essential Functions
Produces, cleans, and sanitizes pots, dishes, and utensils in a timely fashion.
Maintain and operate in a safe working environment.
Provides high-quality service for guests and fellow employees with a friendly and cooperative attitude.
Maintains dish stations, keeping them clean and free of debris and storing all items in their proper place.
Maintains kitchen floor, keeping it clean and dry.
Cleans kitchen walls, equipment, and other areas, as assigned.
Willing to learn health department guidelines regarding water temperature, slippery floors, knife handling, and proper use of machinery and equipment.
Willing to learn all chemicals used for this position, their uses, appropriate quantities, and emergency procedures, as detailed on SDS sheets.
Can handle fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
Accountable for accurate timekeeping. Responsible for clocking in and out with employee pass.
Complete any reasonable task assigned by the supervisor.
Observe mountain-wide policies found in the Employee Handbook.
Must be comfortable working in a customer-oriented environment with guests of unknown origins within a potential COVID exposure scenario.
Secondary Functions
Assists in food preparation as requested by the kitchen supervisor during busy periods.
May aid with lifting and storage of food.
Snow removal duties.
Interpersonal Contacts
The position will interact with all F&B staff members. Guest interaction during bussing times.
Specific Job Skills/Certifications
License/Certifications: Willing to obtain Oregon Food Handler's Card.
Technical: Excellent communication skills.
Physical Capabilities: Lifting 50+ pounds and long periods of standing.
Additional: Must have a positive attitude. Flexible with hours and days of work. Able to work any hours of the day, any day of the week. Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Ability to identify and report safety hazards and equipment problems to supervisor.
Education/Related Experience
Minimum time in related position: Entry level, previous dishwashing experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will be required to frequently bend, reach, climb, push, pull, lift 50 or more pounds, and stand for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, the position will require frequent visual concentration, rapid reactions to changes, and the utilization of hand/eye coordination.
Current Hiring Rate: $18.25/hour (hourly/non-exempt role).
Minimum Age Requirement: 16+/18+ (dependent upon lodge location)
