This position is responsible for monitoring the school routine, guiding adaptations and weekly planning, and collaborating with teachers and related staff to promote best inclusive practices. The D&I Supervisor leads Team Meetings with parents and the therapeutic team, collaborates with Diversity & Inclusion Leadership, and ensures all documentation for D&I students is kept up to date. You must:Guarantee the implementation of the Inclusion Policy; Daily monitor the school routine, suggesting improvements that guarantee access to inclusion and correcting eventual flaws; Present the inclusion policy, profile, and characteristics of Diversity & Inclusion students for the academic year, guaranteeing information to all teachers and related staff; Guide and approve the adaptations and weekly planning, supervising teachers for the best inclusive practices according to each Diversity & Inclusion student, guaranteeing that the Inclusion Policy is being followed; Responsible for guaranteeing documents and adaptations to be delivered according to due dates; Responsible for coordinating predictability materials and/or information to include students, families, and therapists; Execute the adaptation plan for new Diversity & Inclusion student; Manage shadows staff and their relationship with teachers, by providing feedback and guidance to newcomers; Replacement of shadows in case they are absent, helping the student in the school routine; Teach support classes to Diversity & Inclusion students, when needed; Lead group meetings with parents and therapeutical team, Coordinators and Head of School support, when necessary; Collaboratively work with Diversity & Inclusion Leadership, to develop teachers, through observations, individual feedback, and collective training, regarding inclusion procedures related to Diversity & Inclusion students; Keep all documentation for Diversity & Inclusion students up to date; Prepare materials (visual supports, realia..) for D&I students; Foster personal development, to keep improving the Diversity & Inclusion Department.
