Job Title: Downstream Risk Management (DRM) Risk Analyst Location: Remote Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Downstream Risk Management (DRM) Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. The DRM Risk Analyst will be a crucial part of our Risk Management team, focusing on supporting the Risk Operations business in the Crude & Products commodity area. This role involves a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling effective Global Risk Reporting and the growth of our Trading business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP HANA, ERP logistics, the MM module, and risk management in a trading environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business partners to fulfill requirements for Global Risk Reporting.
- Support the Risk Operations business by leveraging analytical tools, primarily SAP HANA.
- Ensure accurate document flow from contracts through logistics execution to receipts and settlement.
- Engage in customer-facing activities, involving on-going project work and enhancements.
- Utilize business analysis techniques to contribute to the software development life-cycle.
- Perform data analytics, including visualization techniques, stored procedures, data modeling, and table functions.
- Manage and maintain ETRM systems, focusing on trade and risk management processes.
- Participate in the entire trade life-cycle, including pre-deal negotiations and the accounting settlement process.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in risk management within a trading environment.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of document flow related to contracts and logistics.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Working knowledge of Data Analytics processes and ETRM systems.
- Demonstrated experience with business analysis and the software development life-cycle.
Preferred Skills: - Comprehensive knowledge of the trade life-cycle.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, or Oracle.
- Ability to read and debug code in SQL, Java, or similar for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with integration tools like Azure Data Factory, Qlik, Webmethods, etc.
- Understanding of Agile framework & methodologies.
- Proven track record as a project track-lead, handling requirements, and collaborating with end users and a technical team for project delivery.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond quickly to changes.
