DR/BC Planning Specialist Contract Latam (100% Remote) Job Description Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining effective DR/BC plans to ensure the organization's ability to recover from disruptions. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, IT systems, and risk management principles.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive DR/BC plans, including business impact assessments, recovery strategies, and procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate DR/BC exercises and testing to validate plan effectiveness.
Assist in the ongoing lifecycle management of DR/BC plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with IT and business units to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain documentation and reporting on DR/BC activities.
Qualifications: Strong understanding of DR/BC concepts and methodologies.
Experience in developing and implementing DR/BC plans.
Proficiency in risk assessment and business impact analysis.
Organizational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in DR/BC (e.g., CBCP, MBCI).
Experience with IT disaster recovery technologies and tools.
Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
