Drilling Mechanic Supervisor

We are recruiting for one of our clients in the Oil & Gas/Drilling segment Position: Drilling Mechanic Supervisor The DMS is responsible for the safety of all persons working under his supervision and is responsible for ensuring that specific requirements for safety measures (JSA, Permit to Work) are implemented when carrying out maintenance tasks identified in the Preventive Maintenance System. You are responsible for all related deck and platform equipment being in a safe and operable condition. Requirements: Expatriate, 28X28 Responsabilities: 1. Ensure proficiency in the Safety Management System and full compliance with the Company's Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 2. Immediately report any potential or actual hazards or any other problems encountered or observed during the performance of their duties to the Head of Machinery. 3. Responsible for the safe and economical operation and maintenance of drilling and related equipment on board, in accordance with procedures and instructions in the Quality Assurance System and under the supervision of the C/M. 4. Communicate effectively with all other members of the vessel's workforce, company employees and contractors' employees to ensure the safe and efficient execution of operations on board the vessel. 5. Carry out planned maintenance on equipment and keep detailed records of all such work as required by the C/M. 6. Ensure that he is fully proficient in the equipment under his responsibility and control and proficient with the manufacturers' specifications and procedures for the maintenance and operation of the equipment.
