Qualifications and Experience University degree in Early Childhood Education with a preference for training in Early Childhood Education. Preferred fully bilingual in Spanish and English with advanced writing and communication skills. Exceptional English communication skills both written and oral. Experience in a multicultural school environment.
Skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent human relations skills in order to communicate effectively with both host country and international parents. Ability to connect with young children, communicating clearly and kindly with them.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Assist with instruction of individuals, small groups, or whole group in collaboration with the lead teacher.
Assume the role of the lead teacher when the teacher is absent.
Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment.
Collaborate with the teacher and team grade level in planning and preparation of lessons.
Participate in parent teacher conferences.
Assist teacher with administrative records and preparation of required reports, along with support of student assessments.
Support the School and the Administration.
Perform other related duties as requested by the School, if temporary and/or extraordinary circumstances require them or the needs of the School require them.
