What will you do

Develop and align the unit's EHS programs and strategies in accordance with the company's business plan and visions.
Responsible for managing compliance requirements, including all requirement around our operate permits and conditions also evaluating operational reports.
Promote an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision-making rights regarding EHS.
Increase employee awareness of critical hazards, thereby reducing the likelihood of risky behaviors.
Analyze proactively the incidents trends (local and global) to construct with your peers the strategies to continuous improvement to eliminating or managing/mitigating risks that may impact people and environment.
Partner with supervisors to develop short- and long-term EHS objectives, goals, strategies, and indicators that prioritize and mitigate risks.
Be an influencer of people by providing coaching to meet the visions of EHS, responsible management and operations.
Promote an environment of collaboration and active participation with all employees, external stakeholders and regulatory entities.
Who you are (basic qualifications)
Technical or Bachelor. (environment/safety) being technically responsible (INEA/IBAMA).
Experience managing and leading an EH&S team in industry.
Deep technical knowledge on air emission, water, wastewater and waste.
Safety Brazilian requirements (NR's) experience.
Advanced English.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Availability for travel.
