Electrical EngineerDepartment: Brazil ConsultancyEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Campinas, BrazilDescriptionThe Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of data centers, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning Planning and Execution:Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.Conduct inspections, tests, and validations of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.Document and report findings, issues, and resolutions.Requesting for Information (RFI's) monitoring.Coordination and Communication:Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements.Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.Participate in project meetings and provide updates on commissioning progress.Quality Assurance and Control:Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and client requirements.Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process.Conduct quality audits and witness necessary site tests.Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation efforts.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation and reports, including Commissioning and Sequence of Energization Plans.Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and approved.Technical Analysis: executive design, inspection plans, commissioning reports (FAT's, FWT's and site tests), technical specifications, submittals and tests scripts.Schedule:Executive schedule monitoring.Deliveries monitoring.Perform additional duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications/Relevant Experience3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on data center projects.Experience in LV/MV electrical equipment and systems commissioning processes and procedures is mandatory and highly desirable.Experience in data center LV/MV electrical equipment and systems commissioning processes and procedures is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus (Brazilian Standards: NR10 Basic + SEP).Certifications in commissioning, and MBA are a plus.Organized and detail-oriented.
