ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURES LEAD ENGINEERCountry/Region: ESCity: MadridMISSIONPlan, organize and direct, or provide support, in the technical studies, engineering development and construction of EDPR's electrical infrastructure projects in accordance with the parameters of quality, cost and specified deadlines, to ensure that strategic renewable energy projects are developed efficiently and delivered to the operating units finished and received for commercial operation.Manage and coordinate internal team members efforts (control, protection, electromechanical, HV lines) to guarantee the correct support during the project E&C indicated stages.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURES PROJECT(s) ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT:Provide Technical Support to the local Engineering teams of the different platforms (EU, LATAM, APAC and NA) as informed, consulted or responsible depending on the type of task and based on the current Responsibility Matrix regarding to the electrical infrastructure projects of the different EDPR countries, as well as coordinating and/or supervising the performance of engineering or other entities that collaborate technically with EDPR in the indicated projects.CONCEPT DESIGN: Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s), the Electrical Technology Team and RODC/IT in reviewing the conceptual design of the Electrical Infrastructure and interconnection solution with the DSO/TSO.BASIC PROJECT: Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s) for the review of the statements along the Grid connection agreement related the Interconnection Solution(s).EXECUTION DESIGN: Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s), the Electrical Technology Team and RODC/IT in reviewing Substation Execution Design and other necessary engineering electrical studies.TENDER PHASE: Collaboration with the local Engineering & Construction Team(s) and RODC/IT in the preparation of the technical documents for the RfPs to be launched by Procurement Team(s).ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURES PROJECT(s) CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT:Provide Technical Support to the Local Construction teams of the different platforms regarding the electrical infrastructure projects of the different EDPR countries.CONSTRUCTION: Collaboration with the local Construction Team(s) in reviewing civil design for substations and HVL.SITE TESTING: Management of SAT for Power Transformer(s) protocol and Electromechanical Verification.FIRST ENERGIZATION: Management of energization protocol preparation.TRANSVERSAL SUPPORT (CORPORATE ENGINEERING): Provide Technical Support to the different teams of the Technical Corporate Engineering Direction regarding the electrical infrastructures associated to the different projects/processes.SUPPLY CHAIN (HOMOLOGATION): Collaborate with the Technology team in the management of the technical qualification/homologation of the different manufacturers.COORDINATION OF PROJECT TRANSFER: Support the E&C team in the transfer of construction projects to the operating units.STANDARDIZATION: Follow the application of the common standards in the projects.HSQE/QA: Promote, propose and control occupational risk prevention, environment and quality policies.COMPANY POLICY AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE: Understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards.EDPR INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATION: Represent EDPR to agencies and institutions.REQUIRED PROFILEACADEMIC LEVEL: Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution.REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: More than 10 years of experience in engineering/construction/testing and commissioning of HV, MV and LV electrical systems.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of technology and design of Electrical systems.LANGUAGES: Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a multi-national team, strong technical and management skills.
