You will get the opportunity to contribute to the development of our investments and have a positive impact on the reliability and safety of our electrical installations.You will be accountable for:Deliver Electrical Engineering at FEL 1,2,3 for multidisciplinar projects (or specific projects for electrical installations) with outsourced team of designers and engineersProvide cost estimations of electrical scope for projectsEnsure that the electrical scope of the projects are in line with the needs and safety standardsManage projects with essential electrical scope like substations modifications or lightning protections installations.Interfaces with the other Engineering disciplines of multidisciplinary projectsInterfaces with the Maintenance team to insure reliability performance of the projectsDesign & validate new or existing grids (long term & project approach) in collaboration with corporative and plant electrical specialistsProvide up to date standards, specifications, procedures and guidelinesEnsure technical expertise into Capex procurement activitiesParticipate in erection, supervision, commissioning & start-up activities with regular field safety inspectionsProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operational teams of the sites when requestedProspecting new products and technologiesParticipate into Solvay electrical community and promote best practicesSupports and audits Sites of the Latam Region regarding electrical safety and compliance with local norms (NR10,…)Supports the Plant in set up of the Director Plans of their electrical networkWe offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.About youRelevant education degree or equivalent in Electrical engineering (preferrably Master's degree)10 years of experience in engineering on industrial electrical network(s) and installationsFluency in EnglishKnowledge of electrical Brazilian norms and international norms (IEC, US standards)Electrical networks protections calculationsSpecialisation in power systems is a plusExperience in maintenance & operation on industrial electrical networks is a plusBehaviors:Strong interest in the industrial electrical networks and its various components and complex systemic interactions.Dynamic, creative, interested by high level expertise and team workerStrong customer orientationCollaborative, innovativeExcelent communication skillsAbout the pay and benefitsAttractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is 196,000 BRL to 245,000 BRL, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
