Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced embedded Linux expert to join our team at Variscite. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining open-source software like U-Boot, Linux, Yocto, Debian, Boot2Qt on Variscite System on Modules (SoMs).Primary duties
BSP development including U-Boot, kernel and driver porting and integration
Board bring-up as well as debugging and validation of new hardware
Writing supporting documenting for our wiki:
Presenting technical webinars:Required Skills
Extensive experience in embedded C development at the kernel and userspace level
Proven experience in board bring-up (BSP) and device driver development
Expertise in working with embedded Linux/Android, scripting, and Open Source projects
Hands-on experience with NXP i.MX, TI AM6, or similar SoCs
Familiarity with Yocto Project, Debian, and Boot2Qt BSPsExperience
5+ years of professional experience in embedded systems developmentLocation
