Join Fortive as an Employee Experience Design Senior Manager to progress how we think about and optimize Employee Experience (EX) and Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE). You'll be at the forefront of connecting EX/IDE to business outcomes and guiding cross-functional teams to prioritize and solution gaps. We'll encourage you to push the limits of what makes an extraordinary workplace, crafting human and equity-centered prototypes that span across moments that matter for employees – in how they connect with our Purpose, interact with each other and our customers, grow, stay well, and get their work done day-to-day. This role is designed for a visionary leader who is eager to shape the future of work at FTV and create a best-in-class EX across our diverse business portfolio for all employees. The role sits within Fortive Corporate's Inclusive Growth Culture and People Enablement Center of Excellence (COE) and reports to the Senior Director of EX/IDE. Responsibilities: Own continuous reporting on macro-EX/IDE insights across the enterprise through a human and equity-centered lens. This includes analyzing EX/IDE data, identifying critical enterprise-wide gaps and corresponding business impacts, conducting further research to determine root cause, and proposing leading practice solutions that cross people processes and/or broader operational processes. Lead cross-functional teams (Fortive Corporate or local OpCos) to codesign and prototype innovative solutions and/or execute enhancements to existing processes or tools to progress EX/Engagement and IDE KPIs. Guide Corporate HR team on how to prioritize talent initiatives in LPM pipeline to maximize progress on Engagement and Business KPIs, position FTV for the Future of Work, and successfully navigate the volatility of the IDE regulatory landscape. Advisory should be based on concrete proof points, insights, and impact modeling, where available. Serve as a EX/IDE subject-matter expert and consult on enterprise-wide process and technology changes/enhancements (within and outside of Talent) from a human and equity-centered design perspective. There may also be future opportunities to influence go-to-market product strategies to advance community sustainability and equity commitments. Evolve FTV's enterprise-wide EX/IDE measurement strategy and reporting mechanisms to facilitate more meaningful and responsive action on gaps across the employee lifecycle on an enterprise, Operating Company (OpCo), and direct team level. This will be done in collaboration with FTV's Talent Analytics COE. Upskill OpCo Fortive Business System Leaders/continuous improvement champions on EX/IDE theories and frameworks and how to apply them seamlessly into existing problem-solving tools and processes. Coach OpCo Fortive Business System Leaders/continuous improvement champions as they problem-solve high-profile EX/IDE issues localized at the OpCo level, as needed. Qualifications: Formal certification in UX and/or human-centered design thinking. 8+ years' experience in a UX or human-centered design focused role within a company or in a consulting capacity. Deep expertise in foundational principles of EX and IDE as they apply to people, process, and technology in the workplace and corresponding best-practices. Strong skills in human-centered research, strategic thinking, facilitation, cross-collaboration, and senior stakeholder communications.
