Here we offer you an exciting and dynamic work environment and will equip you with the know-how that will stretch and enhance your career journey.Role Summary:Ensure all harvesting requirements are executed in a safe manner and supervise a team of harvesters.Responsibilities:In this role, you will perform the following responsibilities:Establish contact with the Harvest Manager to ensure daily production requirements are met.Supervise harvesting work allocations and personnel scheduling.Be the first point of contact for any questions or concerns that team members may raise.Implement efficient harvesting processes for your team.Train team members on best techniques to achieve performance targets.Ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.Support the training of harvesting personnel.Ensure all employees comply with and practice good health and safety procedures.Requirements:To succeed in this role, it is recommended that you have the following skills and qualifications:Technical course in Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields;Desirable a higher education degree;Experience in forest machine operations and/or team management;Willingness to relocate to the workplace.Knowledge:Harvesting operation (Harvester and Forwarder);Ability to lead teams, focus on quality, productivity, safety, and environment;Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, or electricity.When you send us your resume and personal details, it is deemed you have provided your consent to us retaining your information in our talent recruitment database.
