POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include key account management, identifying and pursuing project sales opportunities, customer development, and profitable business expansion in the region (Brazil). Influence specifications deepen relationships with engineering firms, end-users and OEMs, as well as work with customer engineering groups to shape preference for Delval Flow Controls products supporting the local representative efforts. Maintains and expands customer base via current sales channels; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. Work on getting DFC products approved and included in the regional AML and vendor lists. Identify each market segment and obtain necessary approvals required for that market segment entry and initiate the Process to obtain the same under guidance and direction of DFC USA. Visit, present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, Giving sales presentations and products seminars to a range of prospective clients in the region Conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. Responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary, supporting the ongoing activities of local representatives. Responsible for end user sales (MRO), project sales in multiple industries in Brazil. Assist local representatives in gaining new customers, capturing new accounts. Evaluate and propose levels of inventory to distribution in order to be adequate to support the business expansion in each country/rep of responsibility. Surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors. Make selected direct calls in the immediate market area, promoting full line product sales. Be aware of customers' inquiries and orders - assist staff in handling negotiations, adjustments, and complaints. Follow up on quotes and report status regularly in CRM/SalesDesk Solicit and recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying consumer needs and trends. Coordinate efforts with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain and develop professional/technical knowledge through relevant professional associations while serving as a technical resource for others in the organization. Communicate regularly with management on sales goals, market trends, challenges and opportunities Review all accounts, attend training, and work with factory representatives regularly. Ensure that the highest level of customer service and ethical behavior are followed. Address and resolve all customer requests with a positive approach. Manage given accounts and operate and interact with the distributors headquarters buyers, owners and branches. Self-motivated, team player, proactive Act as a technical resource for customers and others in the organization. Implement and follow up on sales directive from management. Review and Evaluate inquiries received and forward them to DFC USA inside sales LATIN AMERICA department along with all the detailed analysis and observations, for quotation. Give feedback on the discussions had and especially on pricing to the company and negotiate as per guidelines given by DFC USA – LATIN AMERICA with the customer for finalizing the order. Give guidelines to the Engineering, teams whenever required to support the decision and selection of the best product offering adequate for the opportunity of sales of DFC USA products in the country. REQUIREMENTS Proven work experience in technical valve sales – territory management - Min 10 years Excellent knowledge of MS Office and computer applications Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver sales & technical presentations tailored to the audience needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Fluent in English(highly desired).
