DUAL REPORT
Job Purpose
The Field Engineer's role applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services. Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision in support of their duties and assignments. Senior and fully-qualified level roles will provide direction to junior field engineers, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and make recommendations to improve product quality and procedures. Intermediate and Senior positions will act as the key interface with the client at the well site, managing service assignments and other personnel.
Roles & Responsibilities
SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Maintains service quality as immediate priorities and seeks areas for improvement.
OPERATIONS
Participates in daily operations & safety meetings and reports issues promptly.
Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in safe conditions.
Monitors and analyzes data to recommend services and solutions.
Performs job planning, preparation, execution, and submits job-related data.
Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions.
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients.
Responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.
Manages inventory and supplies at the well site.
Follows up on failures with the R&M team.
Contributes to equipment failure investigations.
Oversees, leads, and mentors Field Operation crew members where required.
Acts as technical advisor to management and interprets data for clients.
Performs engineering checks while on client location.
Manages the installation of complex equipment and services.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders.
Clearly communicates expectations, roles, and responsibilities.
FINANCIAL
Accountable for financial responsibility in managing budgets and expenses.
Costs incurred should be processed within agreed time frames.

Engages with line manager to discuss performance and opportunities.

Collaborates with HR & Training Development for recruitment & retention.

Experience & Education
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
1 – 2.5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics.
Mathematics, Basic Physics, and Chemistry.
Computer fundamentals.
Critical thinking and complex problem solving.
Good reading and writing skills.
Time management.
Quality Control Analysis.
Service Orientation.
Physically capable to undertake the tasks required.
Ability to react effectively with tools and machinery.
Ability to visualize tools and products for assembly or repair.
Mathematical Reasoning.
Travel Requirement: This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%.
