We are seeking individuals who consistently demonstrate ambition and a proven track record of success in the Engineering field.Responsibilities:Determine the root cause of sophisticated technical issues and develop flawless solutionsCollaborate with teams from various departments to successfully implement new initiativesCompete with industry-leading technologies to ensure our products are of the highest qualityDeliver outstanding customer service by providing on-site assistance and resolving technical issuesConduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure efficient performance of equipmentDaily location updates should be indicated in the programming groupMonthly delivery of expense reports, timesheets, and regional indicators is requiredHandle minimum inventory levels as defined by division levelsAchieve your PMD (Performance Management and Development) objectivesUpdate all software, tools, methods, user/service manuals, and hardware in your possessionCompliance with NR-06 trainingCarry out installations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs of CDD & SDG equipment in accordance with local procedures and in coordination with the Field Service ManagerBe in compliance with Service MaxProvide support and/or training to less expert colleagues and distributors, for small, medium, and large equipmentCollaborate in CAS score attendance of 9 to 10Handle and publish by regularly reading external CDD support bulletinsPrioritize the monthly preventive maintenance schedule for your region in agreement with current processRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldShown experience in a similar roleStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively communicate sophisticated information and generate reportsProficient in English and SpanishProficient in electrical/electronic technologies, mechanics, and softwareDemonstrated knowledge of equipment management, including MTBF, MTTR, and UptimePossession of NR-06, NR-32, and NR-10 certificationsAbility to interpret technical manuals and diagrams effectivelyAligned with Thermo Fisher's standards of conduct and ethical guidelinesAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, we value diversity and inclusivity.
