**The location of the role is in: Contagem - Brazil**

**About the job**
- Support during FEL (Front End Loading), follow-up in execution and closure of Operation CAPEX projects of various complexities depending on the needs of the Region.
- Formal or informal audit of investment projects.
- Training of project teams.
- Implement the existing procedures, templates, and investment guidelines.
- CAPEX portfolio management support.
- Coordinating regular updates of the MIP computer tool.
- Directly project-managing some select strategic projects as required.

**The Regional OP CAPEX Specialist (RCS) reports to the Regional OP Capex Manager (RCM).**

**Key customer and supplier relationships include**:

- Internal PEE (Project Execution & Engineering)
- Project Execution & Engineering Experts
- External PEE
- Project managers in the SAM Region
- Global Plant Technology
- Operations as well as plants
- Cost controllers
- FP&A department (Finance)
- Legal
- Procurement
- Other project stakeholders in particular Subject Matter Experts.

**In addition, your tasks will include**

**Support, challenge, and follow-up OP CAPEX projects of various complexities**:

- Supports project managers in charge.
- Ensures compliance verification of project preparation ahead, of Peer Reviews (PRs) and Investment Boards.
- Participation in Peer Reviews (PRs): quality assurance, advice on local project aspects, follow-up of PRs' actions.
- Monitors the proper execution of projects through Steering Committees, progress meetings during site visits, etc.
- Consolidates and analyzes periodic project reporting according to current periodicity (monthly to quarterly).
- Conducts formal or informal audits of projects to ensure compliance with CAPEX procedures and guidelines and improve the quality of project management.
- Steering committees (quarterly).
- Involves about 10 to 50 projects per year >500k€, plus smaller projects.

**CAPEX portfolio management support (all projects)**:

- Carries out satisfaction surveys and contributes to the construction and execution of the continuous improvement plan of the PEE service.
- Contributions in monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Coordinate update of schedules (monthly).

**Training and communication**:

- On the job training of project teams and stakeholders on project management.

**Using CAPEX portfolio management tools**
- CAPEX portfolio consolidation MIP software for registration, authorization, and monitoring of financials until closure.
- CAPEX portal (SharePoint) for project procedures and documentation.

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education**
- Engineer with in EPC project management.
- CAPM® or PMP® certification is a strong plus.

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent;
**Work Experience**
- Microsoft officer
- Project management.
- Ability to work with Planning software (Primavera and/or MS Project) is a plus.
