Position: Engineering Team Lead
As an Engineering Team Lead for our new Platform team, you will dedicate 50% of your time to hands-on development, crafting scalable solutions. The rest 50% will be focused on team leadership, mentoring, and driving project success.
Stack:
Go, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, Redis, AWS, Grafana, PostgreSQL, Jira, Confluence.
Responsibilities:

Maintain high team efficiency, development speed, and high quality of resulting work.
Be responsible for running team ceremonies, setting daily work goals, ensuring smooth workflow, and reaching the goals agreed with the Product organization.
Lead, supervise and motivate employees; perform regular 1:1s with each member of their team.
Evaluate performance on a regular basis and recommend salary changes; maintain retention plans and succession plans for team members.
Organize work processes, coordinate and control work actions, ensure work quality, and that tasks are performed on time.
Be responsible for the team to understand and follow processes and technologies.
Act as a mid or senior developer within the team for 50% of the time.

Requirements:

3-5 years of back-end development experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team.
Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Excellent Golang and SQL knowledge, including unit testing, integration testing, and security testing for code.
