Find your future with us.Boeing Brazil is seeking a Flight Controls Engineer that supports Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), reporting to the Flight Controls Manager.
This position will be working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos branch.We are seeking accomplished, self-motivated engineers to design, analyze, test and certify flight control systems and components for large commercial aircraft as well as to support the production and fleet operations of this equipment.
The flight controls team is currently engaged in the challenging and exciting work of bringing new derivative airplanes into service as well as getting prepared to create the more capable, more efficient and even safer airliners of the future.
This requisition is for multiple positions in multiple flight control disciplines performing many of the tasks listed below.Position Responsibilities:
Support airplane level requirements into system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into component requirements with time and cost-efficient validation methods.Support system and subsystem architecture alternatives to meet requirements and objectives.Provide alternatives (trade study) to rapidly converge on preferred configurations including defining and executing system simulations and development test programs.Participate in system level and component level validation analysis and testing, including:
analysis and test report authoring; supplier test report reviews; test failure analysis; and test failure mitigation.Participate in system, component and certification efforts.Support on-going production efforts including:
timely resolution of build problems at Boeing and supplier manufacturing facilities; identifying and implementing design improvements to build accuracy, build rate, and production line safety; and timely resolution of rejections, functional test failures and flight squawks.Support Confidencial fleet operations including:
