The candidate will use their technical materials knowledge, critical thinking, and collaborative skills to deliver creative material solutions to our partners through project materials management. Strong skills in textile and data analytics as well as an understanding of the product creation process will ensure delivery of exceptional product for our athletes.Bachelor's degree in administration, Textiles, or a related field (5 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree) or a combination of relevant education, experience and trainingMinimum 5 years relevant work experience; Material, Colour, Product Development and lab test approval experience will be an advantageStrong written and oral communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations in Portuguese and EnglishKnowledge of material construction and processesAbility to work on your own and cooperatively in a diverse group, by networking and utilizing internal and external resources to seek information and drive to make things happenSelf-starter and positive mindset; the ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives is key, including price negotiationExperience with Microsoft Office applications and PCX/GEMINI systems will be an advantageWHAT YOU'LL WORK ONIf this is you, you will explore analyzing footwear materials by projects, technically lead key materials development. This work will enable collaboration with our material development and functional NIKE and partners team to deliver on the highest level of athlete experience with commercialized materials aligned with PMO strategic priorities and key sustainability goals.
