Environmental Licensing Coordinator page is loadedEnvironmental Licensing CoordinatorApply locations Rio De Janeiro, BrazilTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted TodayTime left to apply: End Date: January 20, 2025 (10 days left to apply)Job requisition id: JR100715What does the job involve?Coordinate permitting processes for all projects in Brazil.What will my tasks be?Within this position, your key tasks will be to:Coordinate permitting processes for all projects in Brazil.Assure compliance with environmental conditions established in environmental permits and licenses.Establish a good communication channel with projects in the different Business Areas (Exploration and Production International, Project Development, Renewables, Midstream, and Marketing).Manage contractors as environmental consultancies linked to permitting and consenting.Liaise directly with environmental authorities such as IBAMA, INEA, and CETESB.Ensure a good relationship with environmental authorities.Develop permitting plans and strategies for new projects.Here's what we expect from you:At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential.

For this specific position, we are also looking for:Minimum of 7 years of solid experience coordinating permitting processes with Brazilian environmental authorities.Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences (environmental engineering, geology, oceanography, biology); Master's degree is desirable.Excellent communication skills.Previous experience in managing external stakeholders.Solid experience with permitting processes and environmental issues.Fluent in English and Portuguese.Good knowledge of Equinor portfolio.Excellent knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation and international best practices.What can we offer you?We want you to have a rewarding and fulfilling work life.
