Core Responsibilities - Implement long and short strategies developed by our research and portfolio management team. - Execute various trades, including market orders, limit orders, and hedging strategies - Review positions daily identifying suitable entry and exit opportunities - Manage trade allocations effectively, ensuring optimal distribution of assets. - Actively review portfolios for tax loss harvesting opportunities and implement strategic substitutions. - Produce a weekly chart book to evaluate decision-making quality and identify areas for improvement. - Monitor portfolio net exposures to sectors, factors, and investment themes, suggesting exposure adjustments as necessary. - Apply advanced quantitative methods to inform trading decisions. - Remain up-to-date on market trends through extensive reading and research, translating insights into actionable strategies. - Maintain a culture of personal accountability and strive for excellence in market performance. - Perform data analysis using GPT Code Interpreter and document and present results - Parse and identify compelling research & investment themes Candidate Profile - Expertise in trading public equities and cryptocurrencies. - Adept and fluent with Google Sheets, GPT prompting, and other trading tools, Koyfin, Trading View - Proficient in a range of trading strategies and financial instruments. - History of high achievement in demanding environments, such as athletics. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Committed reader with a passion for financial trends and market dynamics. - Passionate about mastering financial market intricacies. - Open to various levels of experience, with a deep commitment to mastering financial markets.
