DNV, the independent expert in assurance and risk management, is seeking a Senior Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Consultant within our Responsible Sourcing Services department in DNV Brazil to provide advisory, assessment and verification on our ESG services portfolio. As a member of our dedicated ESG team, you will work dedicated in providing advisory on Sustainable Procurement to our customers struggling with the challenges of implementing and integrating the ESG strategies in the procurement processes. You will be a trusted advisor, helping them make critical strategic decisions in an equitable, transparent, and profitable manner. You will also have the opportunity to participate in supplier development programs, getting involved in procurement processes, supplier relationships and eventual onsite visits. Position Description: Some of the key tasks you will carry out include: Take a leading role on advisory process for sustainable sourcing; Support technically our strategic goals and ambitions for Latin America growth on ESG services portfolio, working on technical structure and resources qualification; As a senior consultant work directly on the implementation of ESG frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure on the main channels and stakeholders for our customers (ISE-B3, DJSI, GRI, Ethos, CDP); Creating and delivering ESG strategies and sustainability programs, including policy and procedures; Evaluating ESG performance of companies in the relevant sectors; Providing research, analysis and advisory insight and support to our customers or for internal business development purposes; Take a leading advisory role in structuring and monitoring our customers ESG supplier programs, supplier engagement programs and suppliers evaluation; Techniques for identifying and interacting with stakeholders; Support and undertake site visits to client sites and offices; By joining our team, you will utilize your passion for sustainability and develop your expertise in this exciting area. To be successful in this position, you need to have: Demonstrable technical experience (ideally consultancy experience) within the sustainability and ESG space during at least 2 years; Extensive experience on reporting process, mainly for sustainability reporting and ESG-linked disclosure process; Deep knowledge of sustainable development goals (SDGs), frameworks and standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI); Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD); Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB); Integrated Reporting; Excellent report writing, oral communication and presentation skills; English mandatory/Spanish desirable (plus native/fluent Portuguese); Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment; Ability to collaborate with others, plan and prioritize activities, and to deliver against competing/tight deadlines; Desirable previous knowledge/experience in sustainable procurement projects, suppliers ESG programs, ISO 20400 (Sustainable Procurement) Guidelines.
