Airswift is looking for a Materials Logistics Specialist to work in a temporary contractor position (6 months, with the possibility of extension) in Duque de Caxias with an oil and gas company.Purpose of this position is executing the warehouse and logistics activities assuring FPSO will be fully supported, ensuring the uninterrupted continuity of the operation.
This position is also responsible for the storage, preservation and material control of spares & consumables as well as REPETRO inventory in compliance with applicable customs requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure control over all storage / preservation and handling requirement during storing.
Keep log and records of all incoming / outgoing materials and equipment into the Site warehouse, ensuring that all necessary paperwork connected to the shipment of goods is completed in a proper manner.
Follow up of any deficiencies found towards suppliers.
Undertake regular safety inspections of warehouse facilities and monitor all MISC materials, equipment and containers arriving or departing the yard.
Ensure adequate maintenance and correct certification of all lifting equipment and tools used in the warehouse.
Ensure all personnel working for MISC in the warehouse are correctly trained to use equipment supplied.
Arrange the logistics of containers, tanks etc in connection with deliveries to and from the FPSO.
Knowledge of the contractual requirements and fiscal legislation related to the transport of goods and safety legislation to the transport of dangerous goods.
Verify, create and improve Logistics procedures.
Manage warehouse costs.
Manage transport and other logistics services costs.
Undertake regular visits at warehouses to ensure that all dangerous goods is received with the properly documentation, such as MSDS, FISPQ and Emergency Data Sheet.
Undertake regular visits at warehouse to ensure that all procedures of receiving, expediting and storing materials are being followed.
Knowledge of materials control and purchasing software such as SAP.
Check that the delivery of goods and services is confirmed in accordance with approved PO and established instructions.
Provide solution for Logistics issues.
Raise and treat Nonconformance process and claims.
