**About the Position**:
This position offers the opportunity to learn about accounting classifications, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements. Additionally, there is room to explore other areas within the finance department.
**Activities**:
- **Assistance in bookkeeping**: Entering fiscal, accounting, and financial documents into specific systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- **Aid in financial report preparation**: Supporting the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
- **Participation in accounting reconciliations**: Reconciling bank accounts, accounting records, and transaction reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of records.
- **Support in data analysis**: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial information to provide valuable insights for financial management and decision-making.
- **Collaboration in audit processes**: Assisting during internal or external audits by providing necessary information and documents, as well as conducting specific verifications.
- **Learning about accounting systems and software**: Familiarization and use of accounting software and specific tools to assist in day-to-day activities.
- **Involvement in special projects**: Collaborating on specific projects related to improvements in accounting processes, implementation of new policies or systems, among others.
- **Professional development**: Constant pursuit of knowledge and updates on accounting standards, tax regulations, and market trends.
- **Cash Closing**: Handling the cash closing process for our physical agencies in Belgiu and Luxembourg, ensuring accurate recording and balancing of daily transactions. This includes reviewing cash balances, verifying transactions, and preparing reports to ensure all funds are accounted for and securely processed at the end of each business day. The Cash Closing activity is critical to maintaining the financial accuracy and security of operations at our on-site locations.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting (preferably), Business Administration, or related fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Fluency in English.
