We are seeking a Farmer Engagement Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for farmers participating in our ERW programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with farmers and stakeholders.
This role is pivotal to ensuring successful implementation of ERW practices and fostering long-term partnerships with the farming community.Location: Near Dourados (MGDS), Assis (SP) or Maringa (PA)Key ResponsibilitiesFarmer Outreach & Relationship Building - Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural partners in the region of operations (Northern Parana, Southern Sao Paulo and Dourados MGDS).
Communicate the benefits of ERW, including carbon sequestration, soil health improvements, and crop productivity gains.ERW Program Implementation - Work with farmers to plan and execute rock applications on their fields, ensuring alignment with cropping cycles and farm operations.
Coordinate logistics for rock delivery, application, and monitoring in collaboration with the Operations Team.Education & Training - Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and educational materials to farmers about ERW processes and benefits.
Address farmer concerns, answer questions, and provide on-site support as needed.Data Collection & Reporting - Collaborate with the SciOps team to collect field data, including soil and crop management practices.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of field activities.Community Engagement - Act as a liaison between the company and local agricultural communities, ensuring that farmers feel supported and valued.
Represent the company at agricultural events, conferences, and local meetings.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or a related field (Master's degree preferred).3+ years of experience in farmer engagement, agricultural extension, or a similar role.Strong understanding of soil science, crop production systems, and sustainable farming practices.Familiarity with farm management systems (e.g.
