The product control function provides support to the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that the P&L, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.Duties and Responsibilities:
Monthly & Quarterly regulatory reporting, coordinating with Financial Control, VCG, External Reporting, and Central Reporting TeamsUnderstand and validate RWA results for the business, communicate results to the businessUnderstand balance sheet usage and reporting and provide analysis as neededProvide and advise to the business on balance sheet, RWA and funding cost impact for new structuresDrive and coordinateEmpresa importante or regional ad-hoc projects and requestsSuggest and implement controls to improve accuracy and efficiency of reporting.Provide ad-hoc business and financial analysis and reportingDevelop solid working relationships with numerous other support functions and business partnersQualifications2+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related areaExperience doing P&L and month end close processBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related areaSolid understanding of financial products would be advantageousStrong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focusExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
