Job Overview:A Field Application Engineer III develops and grows strong relationships with industrial clients in aspecific geographic market.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can create and managestrategy around target accounts, sales pipeline, solution development, and routine customer visits.
Asuccessful Field Application Engineer II will have exceptional knowledge of material handlingtechnologies and understand how to apply them in order to improve our customer's processes andoperations.Job Functions:Intermediate knowledge and expertise on Bastian Solutions scope of supply and capabilities,advanced knowledge in select areas.Develops and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in assigned geographic market.Develops a thorough understanding of product information, customers, business operations, andopportunities through onboarding, training, and development opportunities.Creates and manage strategy regarding target accounts, sales pipeline, and routine customer visits.Understands and execute Bastian Solutions approach regarding marketing and brand awareness withprospective and existing customers.Develops in-depth knowledge of supplier offerings by attending training opportunities as well asconducting own research as necessary.Assists with Project Management and/or Site Management solutions that are sold to customers.Able to lead opportunity development process with new and existing customers for most projects.Creates concepts, drawings, cost schedules, and detailed proposals.Understand financials, budgets, and cash flow.Travel Requirements:50% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)Preferred Skills and QualificationsBachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)5+ years of experience in technical salesPortray a basic level of knowledge regarding Bastian Solutions scope of supply, material handling technologies, and capabilities and apply them to customers needs.Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plusAutoCAD experience a plusResults focused individual that can close sales and secure business for the organizationSelf-starter who can create and manage strategyTo learn more about us, click the following link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wJsktTkF50About Bastian Solutions:Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.
