Seize the opportunity to learn, create and develop your potential with us.The Site Engineer will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations on the construction site/maintenance, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
This role involves close collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders and the supervision of site engineers and construction workers.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Lead the execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Site Supervision: Oversee site activities, including the coordination of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers and construction teams.
Solve complex engineering problems and make decisions regarding construction/maintenance methodologies.Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
Ensure timely submission of reports to project management.Resource Management: Manage the allocation and utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the specified standards and regulations.Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols on-site, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure all personnel are trained and compliant with safety standards.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues during construction/maintenance, including technical, logistical, and personnel challenges.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in site engineering or construction.This position requires extensive time on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and construction hazards.
