We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the bestYou will be responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing, startup activities on Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, Compressors and Generators controls & instrumentation systems in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements primarily within Mexico and other Latin-American countries.As a Field Specialist – Controls, you will be responsible for:Leading and executing foundation and soft foot check and adjustments.Leading and executing assembly/installation and alignment of the equipment.Leading and executing independently inspection of the equipment.Providing business ownership for work in assigned areas.Establish and maintain business relationships (customer and BH).Providing leadership to balance customer service satisfaction and BH objectives.Driving Safety, On-time Delivery, Productivity, Quality, and Cost.Performing field engineering service work, as required, to properly serve the customer.Supporting emergent and emergency customer needs.Creating an engaging work environment where other BH and the customer's employees are motivated to optimally perform.Ensuring all BH and customer learning are applied, increasing probability of achieving customer goals.Supporting Root Cause Analysis efforts within customer and BH organizations relating to customer failures, forced outages and incidents of interest.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have engineering or technical level training in instrumentation, electrical, automation, electronics, computing or control and automation.Have an active CREA or CFT.Demonstrate professional experience in TMS equipment.Demonstrate professional experience in Baker Hughes equipment, attested by company that has carried out scope in the equipment covered the site operation, commissioning, and start-up.Have capability in working under pressure, clear thinking, decisiveness. Team player skills.Demonstrate knowledge of turbine generators and or compressors equipment.Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills together with good interpersonal & organizational skills.Be a leader with excellent listening, project management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Demonstrate project management experience, or be a specialist from one of many fields, who can act as the primary contact and coordinator for BH with Customers during outage and non-outage periods.Be able to effectively work with the Customer at all levels of their organization - from day-to-day users of BH products and services to the Customer's Executives.Be able to provide technical direction of skilled craft labor, track costs, update schedules and communicate effectively at all levels as a site manager.Demonstrate advanced computer skills including ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite environment, ability to learn special BH applications, and ability to utilize (or learn) identified Project Management software applications such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.Demonstrate Field Engineering experience.Be fluent in written and spoken English or have at least intermediate knowledge.Demonstrate knowledge of MKVIe or RX3i or Woodward Control panels.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
