**Job Summary**:
Be part of our client's team as a detail-oriented Financial Assistant. This pivotal role involves managing financial transactions, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance. Handle accounts payable and receivable, conduct audits, and collaborate cross-departmentally for streamlined financial processes.
- Employment type_: Full-time- Shift_: Mid Shift (Mon - Fri 1PM - 9PM)- Work setup_: Permanent WFH

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and process financial transactions and records.
- Financial Management and Reporting:

- Oversee accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in records and reports.
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis for the management team.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Provide administrative support in financial matters.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
- Liaise with external parties, including clients, suppliers, banks, and auditors.
- Accounting Software Proficiency:

- Manage company transactions in accounting software (Xero).
- Ensure reconciliation of bank, credit card, and Payprop transactions.
- VAT and Compliance:
Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable:

- Manage accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Payroll Administration:

- Oversee the payroll function, coordinating with the payroll department.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the management, administration teams, and the company's chartered accountants.
- Build relationships for the betterment of the company.
- Strategic Financial Input:

- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in financial processes.
- Monitor and report on financial metrics specific to various company divisions.
- Documentation and Compliance:

- Prepare monthly financial statements (P+L and Balance Sheets) and ensure the accuracy of all accounting documents.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Google Suite of products.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
