**What a Senior Finance Analyst contributes to Cardinal Health**
The Finance Advisor is responsible for being an objective and strategic financial partner, collaborating in a cross-functional effort to drive relevant, flexible, and efficient finance processes and controls that support our business enterprise.
- Preparation of regular forecasts and budgets for SG&A
- Support that the monthly, quarterly, and annual results are reported in a timely and accurate manner
- Exceptional to drive of the tax issues and accounting of the business by managing global and local accounting team and Genpact Time
- Accounts Payable experience across LATAM countries (Focus on Brazil, support Colombia)
- Internal Controls experience performing Audit in CONCUR T&E related payments
- Serves as a facilitator between services providers (3PL, Accounting, etc.)
- Identifies and executes upon process improvement opportunities.
- Generalist profile being able to adapt and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to cope with constant shift of priorities as the business change directions
**Accountabilities**
- A Finance Advisor that would be accountable for execution and bring a strategic view to create and optimize processes
- Execute upon department routines according to standard procedures
- Deep FP&A and Accounting Knowledge, must be able to organize, create processes and optimize flows.
- Processing of invoices making sure they are compliant with our policies and P2P process, AP accounting and reconciliation activities, validate delivery of services/goods; input invoices to be paid in our bank system and manage our Treasury system making sure payments are compliant with treasury guidelines and approval matrix.
- Overall good sense of a Procure to Pay process in order to adapt current processes to new P2P Stablished policy
- Perform Audit on Concur T&E payments, matching all expenses vs Legal & Compliance policies making sure we have in infringements in our policies
- Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
- Be able to validate payment advancements requested by brokers
- Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
- Consolidate Financial information from different sources (systems and people) and prepare analysis and reports, metrics and dashboards
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Collaborates with multi-functional partners, both internally and externally,
- Leads the coordination, organization and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses for areas supported.
- Assist with month-end close, working with 3PL, Corporate Accounting, and external accounting partners.
- Strong communication skills in a variety of settings with diverse audiences
- Collaborates with internal and external partners across finance and accounting functions
- Identifies opportunities or areas of financial underperformance, conducts analysis and makes recommendations
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in business, Accounting or related areas
- 5+ years progressive experience in Finance and Accounting
- Proficiency in Spanish and English Advance (mandatory).
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel pivots, reports, etc.)
- Solid "take charge" and "hands on" approach
- Solid Influencing and partnership skills
- Ability to work in a highly matrix environment
- Ability to successfully establish processes in a dynamic environment
