Role Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Intern to join our team and contribute to various aspects of accounting and financial (F&A) management.
The individual will play a pivotal role in providing support to promote the accuracy and compliance of our financial data.
The primary responsibilities will include validating invoices and financial data in line with regulations established by tax authorities such as Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII), RFB (Brazilian federal revenue service agency), and SARS (The South African Revenue Service), thereby upholding both legal requirements and Woodgrove's policies.
Essential Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of accounting accounts, particularly focusing on the income statement.
- Actively participate in projects related to the company's accounting and finance areas.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Verify necessary information for timely and complete accounting entries, as well as reconcile accounting data received from outsourced accountants.
- Input accounting information into the system accurately, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Student from the 5th semester onwards of Accounting, Business Administration or related Fields.
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel.
- Desirable:
English language skills.
Intermediate knowledge in Power BI.
Some work experience, if possible, in an accounting office.
QuickBooks working experience.
Knowledge of bookkeeping / cost allocation / accounting closures.
