#BELIMITLESSJob Description As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the pre-opening phase of Fairmont Udaipur Palace, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls.
You will play a key role in ensuring the financial success and sustainability of the hotel by providing strategic financial guidance and implementing sound financial practices.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the pre-opening phase, in alignment with corporate objectives and industry standards.Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management and corporate headquarters.Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections and liquidity requirements, optimize cash resources, and implement cash management strategies to ensure adequate funding for pre-opening activities and ongoing operations.Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Financial Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with pre-opening activities, including market risks, currency risks, and operational risks, through proactive risk management strategies.Capital Expenditure Management: Manage capital expenditure projects, evaluate investment opportunities, and coordinate with project teams to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and timely completion of projects.Financial Strategy Development: Develop and recommend financial strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional development and ensure high performance.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and develop actionable insights.Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners.#J-18808-Ljbffr
